Contact NowSolid Block/Spherical Roller Bearing Solid-Block Housed Units feature rugged cast-steel housings and double-row spherical roller bearings. Designed to offer protection from contaminants, these housed units accommodate shaft sizes from 1-7/16” to 7” (40 mm to 180 mm) and most metric sizes. This product line was formerly known as “QM Blue Brute Bearings.” Spherical roller bearing solid-block housed units come in five locking configurations: single and double set screws, eccentric locks for reversing applications, tapered-adaptor locks and double-tapered locks. Choose from three sealing options: labyrinth seals (for high-speed, high-temperature applications).
Spherical roller thrust bearings have specially designed raceways and asymmetrical rollers. The bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in one direction and simultaneously acting radial loads. The load is transmitted between the raceways via the rollers at an angle to the bearing axis, while the flange guides the rollers .
